ACE is still flying high

In an article entitled "End of Success" PC Dealer magazine (10th September) reported that on 22nd August a compulsory winding-up order was issued against Applied COmputer Expertise (ACE).

ACE are well known in the MultiValue community as suppliers of specialist legal systems based on UniVerse, so as soon as MultiValue News heard the story we attempted to verify it.

One of our contributors contacted ACE and was assured that the story was completely untrue: they are alive and well and none of their customers have any reason to be alarmed.

Our contributor also contacted Grayon CreditWatch, compilers of the "End of Success" column. A spokesperson said that they were now aware that the report was incorrect and confirmed that the company named in the winding-up order was in fact unrelated to ACE.

Graydon assured us that their records had been amended that ACE's credit rating had been restored, but they would not comment further.
