Management Information Tools unveils MITS Suite 3.0 for MultiValue data mining

Management Information Tools, Inc. (MITI) has announced their latest release of the MITS Data Mining system - MITS SUITE 3.0. This release contains the much-anticipated Windows front end that provides point-and-click ease for data mining exploration.

MITS is a unique data mining solution in that the transformation process, database, and exploration function are resident with the site's MultiValue environment. MITS takes full advantage of the MultiValue file methodology to maintain a highly efficient orthogonal hypercube of up to 16 dimensions. Drill-down exploration into this hypercube is accomplished within seconds of each request.

The MITS system can optionally be split between the MultiValue host and a connected sub-system. The separate sub system would incorporate a Windows NT, AIX or UNIX operating system running D3, Unidata, Universe or mvBASE. All users on the MultiValue host are able to perform MITS data mining in either a character-based environment on standard terminals or by using MitsView, the new Windows front-end to the MITS system.

MITS was designed to put data mining in the hands of the regular user needing the information rather than limiting its use within a data-analyzing department as with other data mining tools. MITS is the most accessible data-mining tool on the market for MultiValue users and is aggressively priced. Most often, the users of MITS are able to enjoy the significant value of data mining within days of installation.

Management Information Tools, Inc., headquartered in Seattle, Washington, USA is the developer of the MITS MultiValue Data Mining system. Visit the MITI web site at http://mgmt-info-tools.com or contact the MITS UK Distributor, Edgtech Systems at (01295) 279279.
