Compass UK Leisure orders major system upgrade from Beauchamp Computer Services

Compass UK Leisure have strengthened their commitment to MultiValue solutions provider Beauchamp Computer Services (BCS) with an order for a major upgrade to their event staffing systems.

Compass UK Leisure are industry leaders in the recruitment, training and mobilisation of casual staff for leisure and sporting events across the UK, such as the Grand National, Test Matches at Edgbaston, the Open Golf Championship, Henley Regatta, rugby internationals at Twickenham, and events at Wembley Conference Centre, Albert Hall and London Zoo.

Their relationship with BCS began almost nine years ago with the implementation of BCS' TriPay at head office to handle the gross-to-net on the 20,000-strong casual payroll, and expanded into the development of the AESOP event staffing system to reduce the "hard labour" of manually managing the events at remote sites.

This new order sees the onward development of AESOP to:

• increase the number of remote sites;
• upgrade head office server to a 40-user mvBASE licence;
• network and integrate all BCS applications to provide seamless data transfer between event staffing, personnel and casual payroll;
• implement Working Time Directive compliance checks;
• reduce keying effort and on-line storage of data to improve efficiency and information throughput.
