Summer 2001

jBASE develops with Kodak

jBASE Software Limited officially opened its new international head office on the recently refurbished sixth floor of Hemel Hempstead’s landmark building, Kodak House, on Monday May 14, 2001.

Established in 1989, jBASE has out-grown its previous offices in the town having experienced consistent commercial growth over the years, which now necessitates the move to these new prestigious offices. The new premises will accommodate jBASE’s expanding force, currently consisting of some 70 highly skilled information technology systems developers and specialised technical support staff. jBASE now has representation throughout the European Union, Australasia, Poland, South Africa, and the USA.

Commenting on the opening Clive Ketteridge, jBASE’s co-founder and managing director, said; “Over the last 12 years we have concentrated on consistent and sustainable growth and have now earned an enviable position in the DBMS and web application market place, with both a solid product and a profitable distribution and support infrastructure. The move to these fabulous offices marks another milestone in our plans for steady growth.”
