PRL Scotland Limited have developed POP3 utilities to send and receive e-mail directly from Unix-based MultiValue systems.
The software supports e-mail addressing from non-Windows terminal devices and enables applications to directly utilise e-mail to communicate with external environments.
The utilities are provided as a Software Developers Kit (SDK) for integration with existing applications. The utility runs directly on a PC as a server process and requires no Unix server configuration or management overhead.
PRLs Glenn Chalmers says: These utilities will enhance almost any product by facilitating B2B communication with either customers or vendors, with minimum overhead, development effort or complexity.
